MEDIEVAL MISSADVENTURES

THE GAME:

This is Medieval MissAdventures, a 3D single input stealth-based game in which the player, the Home Kingdom Princess, embarks on a hand-painted journey seeking to rescue the Prince, captured by the Away Empire. It’s set in a medieval world, the headstrong Princess tasked with rescuing the Prince, this being one of his very common and usual antics.

The core pillars of the game are the narrative, art-style and mechanics, making it a strategy-based gameplay, where the only control you need is the mouse. The team aimed to build a world with comedy at its centre, taking Shrek as the biggest inspiration, where your classic fairy tale might not be as you last remembered it.

This was created for the Springboard 2023 program, in which we had six weeks to create a working prototype to fit the brief 'one dynamic/single input'.
